To kick start our new Pathways for All: Expert Voices series and in response to feedback from a number of schools, we are pleased to introduce a webinar on funding for Level 2 and below.   This is for school leaders who would like to offer Level 2 or other alternative programmes in their Sixth Forms but are unsure how the funding would work.  We are delighted that Nick Holbrook-Sutcliffe, Vice Chair of Pathways for All and Assistant CEO for Education at the EKC Group, has agreed to share his expertise and give a webinar on the topic.  Nick has a wide range of expertise to offer on funding and has supported many schools and colleges around the country.

Demystifying the Funding for Level 2 Programmes in Sixth Forms

  • Content:  Many Sixth Forms are currently considering running programmes at Level 2 or below but have expressed concerns about how funding would work.  Come and hear about how to make the funding work for you and support the growth of your Sixth Form. The session will be led by Nick Holbrook-Sutcliffe, Assistant CEO for Education, East Kent Colleges Group, who has a huge amount of expertise and experience to share.

The session will cover:

  • Insight into the new Level 2 qualifications and V Levels.
  • Practical insights into post-16 funding.
  • Key opportunities for education providers.
  • Common challenges and pitfalls – how to avoid them.

Speaker bio:

Nick Holbrook-Sutcliffe is a qualified teacher with extensive senior management experience in further education, most recently as a member of the executive team for a large and successful college group.  He provides strategic leadership for curriculum, leading delivery of the government reform programme, securing and managing education and skills funding, and ensuring provision is financially sustainable, relevant and responsive to local and regional skills needs.  His work supports the economic and social prosperity of the diverse and overlapping communities the college group serves.
