Provision Map of good practice for SLCN
Many schools and Early Years settings across Kent are either working towards, or have achieved Balanced System®: Scheme for Schools and Settings Accreditation (map).
These schools and Settings have shared some of their ‘star’ provisions which have been proven to make a difference to speech, language and communication outcomes for children and young people. The spreadsheet below outlines the different star provisions and who to make contact with if you wish to find out more.
There are also some Case Studies related to some of these provisions to give more detail about why and how the provision was implemented and the difference it is making for children and young people with some top tips and key learning from their experience.
This resource will be a live document and will continue to develop to reflect what best practice looks like for SLCN in Kent.
