Why not just google it? Free webinars at Kent Libraries

Kent Libraries have four free webinars in October and November .

Ever wondered how to find reliable information and use Google more efficiently?

It's often difficult to judge the quality of online information. Is it fact or opinion? How can you be sure to find trustworthy websites that help with homework? Kent Libraries are running free webinars that address these issues, and are open to anyone – ideal for parents / carers:

  • Why not just Google it? Join us online to learn how to make the most of your internet searches. Dates: Thursday 22 October 4.30pm or Tuesday 3 November 10am.
  • Homework Help. Find out how to use Britannica Online and some of the other free online resources available from the library. Dates: Friday 9 October 4.30pm or Tuesday 13 October 10am.

Participants for either webinar need access to a computer & can listen to the webinar in a variety of ways: through a speaker, via headphones on a pc, or through a telephone if you prefer. Each webinar lasts about an hour.

Sign up for either webinar online at http://bit.ly/1hjegRq or by calling Ask a Kent Librarian on 03000 41 64 38 or email akl@kent.gov.uk
