Reconnect E-Card

Following our contact with schools on Wednesday 27 April, we would like to remind you to issue the Reconnect E-Card to your families eligible for free school meals. For more information, please see the letter (PDF, 159.6 KB) and flyer (PDF, 322.1 KB) to share with eligible families. We will be issuing our public communications through social media and other channels next week, so please issue the E-Card vouchers as soon as possible.

Kent’s Big Writing Challenge - deadline reminder!

The deadline for Kent’s Big Writing Challenge is fast approaching! Entries must be submitted by Tuesday 31 May 2022. Please see the poster (PDF, 308.9 KB) for more information and visit the KM Charity Team Kent’s Big Writing Challenge website for information about how to submit an entry.

Invicta National Academy – Exam support for KS4

Invicta National Academy are offering advice on exam style questions through its Home Study Support for KS4 students. Please share the flyer   (PDF, 308.9 KB) with your KS4 pupils, with information on how they can access this support.

Holiday Activities and Food Programme

We are pleased that this Easter, three times as many children took up places as Easter 2021, showing that increasingly providers and families are seeing the programme as something for them. The next HAF period is Summer 2022, so look out for more information about this in coming weeks.

Hackathon 2

We are pleased to inform you that, following the success of the first Reconnect Hackathon, we have decided to run another. Please see the letter (PDF, 170.4 KB) with information about the theme of the second event and how to register your school’s interest in taking part.

The deadline for registering your interest is 5pm on Wednesday 25 May 2022.
