Perfect Pollinators Schools’ Project

A science based project about bees for Key Stages 1 and 2 pupils

Date: Spring/Summer 2016

We are inviting primary schools in East and South Kent to register their interest in taking part in our Perfect Pollinators Bee project.

Perfect Pollinators is about: (read attached flyer (PDF, 697.3 KB))

  • Improving young people's understanding of the pollinator's critical role in food production 
  • Allowing children to directly experience the complete life cycle of some of our key with emphasis on the Red
    Mason Bee (Osmia bicornis)
  • linking with the requirements of the National Curriculum
  • Developing habitats within the school grounds to benefit all pollinators
  • Watching online live video of activity inside your school beehive!
  • Improving the public's understanding of the importance of our pollinators
