July 2019 Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM) grant allocations

Schools 2018-19 Academic Year UIFSM funding allocations and provisional 2019-20 Academic Year UIFSM funding allocations have been confirmed by the ESFA and are available now.

On 28 June, the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) notified the Local Authority (LA) of its schools’ final 2018-19 UIFSM funding allocations and provisional UIFSM allocations for the 2019-20 academic year.

In the July 2019 advances the LA will pay UIFSM allocations to schools, with the payment split as follows:

  1. An adjustment to the provisional payment made in July 2018 for the period September 2018 to March 2019
  2. The payment for the period April to August 2019
  3. A provisional payment for the 2019-20 academic year for the period September 2019 to March 2020

A UIFSM Allocations Template (XLSX, 102.0 KB) has been provided to assist schools with reconciling their UIFSM allocations with the advances.
