Pathways for All expert voices series

A webinar on reducing NEETs through good post-16 transition, led by Lorna Newbrook, Liz Mason and Hayley Harney.

The numbers of young people Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) is increasing rapidly, particularly for those not ready to progress on to Level 3 courses. Transition into post-16 can be tricky with young people having to make complicated choices about their post-16 pathways, navigate complex application processes and then sustain their new post-16 destination. It is crucial that we support our young people to make successful transitions as if they do not find an appropriate destination or drop out because it does not suit them, they are likely to have very few options and become NEET. This webinar will explore how we can work collaboratively to improve young people’s chance of making a successful transition.
