Reminder - Fire Risk Assessment

How often should we undertake a fire risk assessment?

All schools need to ensure they have a comprehensive fire risk assessment undertaken by a competent person. A full assessment needs to be undertaken every three years or more regular if there is a change in the premises or its usage. It also needs to be reviewed and recorded on an annual basis by the school.

In addition, you need to ensure that you have written fire evacuation plan which is tested three times per year, recording the findings.
