Belonging Matters

The charity SEBDA, supporting children and young people with SEMH, presents a conference on attendance and exclusion - parents welcome.

Belonging Matters, the National Conference 2025, presents Ellie Costello, Square Peg; Prof Harry Daniels, Excluded Lives; and Eliza Fricker, Missing the Mark; and many
more.

We will be discussing the latest DfE attendance and exclusion data, looking at causes of
Emotionally Based School Avoidance, and formulating positive solutions to promote positive
school engagement.

SEBDA is based in Ashford, Kent and has been supporting children and young people with SEMH
since the 1970s, and produces the EBD Journal through Routledge and Oxford University.
