Zellar Green Schools competition

Zellar has teamed up with Earth Cubs, Water Plus Ltd. and Biffa to give two lucky schools the chance to win £1,000 each, plus a host of green prizes to help your school reduce energy, water and waste.

And the best thing of all? Entering is simple. Just get your school to send us a photo of the sustainability project they’re most proud of. As long as it’s helping to improve the environment anything goes. So whether it’s a biodiversity garden that’s attracting pollinators, a water harvesting programme capturing rainwater to water plants or even a upcycling project that’s turning waste into useful items - we’d love to see it.

The lucky winners will receive:

  • £1,000 towards your next green school project
  • Energy audit visit to help you save even more
  • Virtual waste saving call to reduce waste
  • Water efficiency visit to cut water usage
  • Two water butts for outdoor projects
  • Exclusive sustainability session for one school winner (ages 4 to 11)

To enter the Zellar Green Schools competition you just need to snap a photo of your school's sustainability project, write a brief description, and share it on:

Each platform counts as a separate entry, giving you four chances to win! The competition closes on June 16 2024. Two winning schools (ages 4 to 11 and 11 to 18) will be announced on Thursday 27 June 2024.
