Youth Mental Health First Aid training in Maidstone this December

Do you want to know how to better support young people with their mental health?

Do you want to learn the signs and symptoms that a young person may be struggling? Do you want to build your confidence and awareness of the mental health support which is available for young people?

If you answered yes to those questions, then a Mental Health First Aid qualification may be the course for you! Over the course of a two-day qualification, you will learn more about mental health, and the mental health problems which face young people today. You will build your confidence tackling these problems and will learn more about how you can proactively support a young person who may be struggling.

The course also provides you with take-away materials including a manual and an ALGEE Action Plan - providing you with resources which you can use to proactively utilise your qualification every day. We think about first aid training as an essential requirement for most organisations - so why not apply the same logic to our mental health too?

If you want to take the next step in supporting young people with their mental health, then you can sign-up for our training session on the 9 and 13 of December today. Spaces are limited, but we are able to offer spaces at just £150 - half the price of a usual Youth MHFA qualification - as part of our continued charitable mission.

Don’t miss your chance to access this high-quality training at a reduced price. Visit the Maidstone Mind website or email training@mmkmind.org.uk today.
