Youth Mental Health First Aid spaces in Maidstone this February - just £150

Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind are offering more Youth Mental Health First Aid training at a subsidised cost after the popularity that similar courses have seen in the past.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is a form of Mental Health First Aid training which takes a similar format to the acclaimed Adult training and uses that approach to look at the mental health problems which young people may be encountering.

Over the course of two days, participants will take an in-depth look at the problems which may be facing young people within the modern world.

The course covers a variety of different topics - with everything from Depression and Anxiety, to Eating Disorders, touched upon as part of the course content.

Attendees are also provided with a workbook and other resources to take away with them - providing them with a source of information to reflect on if they ever find themselves needing to utilise their skills.

This training is usually valued at £300, but MMK Mind have been able to attract external funding - meaning we can provide it for just £150 per person. Additional discounts are available for charitable organisations wishing to undertake this training.

This training is appropriate for teachers, parents or youth workers - and will provide invaluable skills which can be utilised as a part of their everyday approach to supporting young people.
