Youth Counselling service in Maidstone now available from age five and upwards

21 February 2020

Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind will now be able to see young people from the age of five.

Maidstone and Mid-Kent Mind (MMKM) will now be able to see young people from the age of five as part of their Youth Counselling service - meaning that young people who may be exhibiting symptoms of poor mental health can now access support without the age restrictions that often come from support services.

This counselling for young people will fall under the existing veil of the Youth Counselling service delivered by MMKM already. Our counsellors work with a range of different styles designed to support young people with expressing themselves. These techniques can include:

  • Play Therapy
  • Creative Activities
  • Integrative Use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Talking Therapies.

Our counsellors are trained to work with young people on a step-by-step basis, ensuring that the counselling which they offer is the unique to the individual who needs it.

For full details on pricing and booking, please visit the Maidstone Mind website

Alternatively, please email counselling@mmkmind.org.uk for more details.
