Year 2 Phonics Retakes 2026

As in previous years, Management Information have provided a pupil list file for every school that has Year 2 pupils who either need to retake the Phonics Screening test or who need to take it for the first time this year.

The files have now been uploaded to Perspective Lite

All your year 2 pupils are listed in the file, together with the score they achieved last year. Pupils who need to retake the test (or take it for the first time) are highlighted.

The data has been sourced from your 2026 January School Census return so if you have had any pupils joining Year 2 since then and you do not know their Year 1 score, please email their UPN and Date of Birth to MIEducation&WiderEH@kent.gov.uk and we will locate these scores for you.
