Stories behind the poppy
We Are The Dead.
This special remembrance event is inspired by Canadian army doctor John McCrae’s iconic poem In Flanders Fields. With schools in the UK and Canada taking part together, the event will focus on the Canadian soldiers who died in Europe and are buried in the United Kingdom.
