World Kindness Day resources for schools and families

World Kindness Day takes place on the 13 November and you can use these activity ideas in your school or send them home to families.

World Kindness Day is an internationally recognised event for the celebration of kindness in society and day-to-day life. Individual acts of kindness are encouraged on this day annually.

Through their link with People United, Kent Children's University has produced a #ProudToBeKind Challenge for schools, families and organisations.

This #ProudToBeKind Challenge consists of 10 acts of kindness which can be completed during school time, as an after-school club or given to families as a homework or voluntary activity throughout the month of November. Young people could complete 1 or any number of the activities, that is the challenge.

The aim is to encourage Kent schools to celebrate World Kindness Day on the 13 November and use the resource to help inspire children and their families to spread kindness throughout their community.

Young people who are part of Children’s University can earn a varying number of Learning Credits for each activity completed outside normal school time.
