Updated self-harm guidance now available

Earlier this year, the i-THRIVE and Participation team began reviewing and revising the Kent and Medway self-harm guidance.

We’re pleased to share the newly updated self-harm prevention guidance

What’s new?

  • A more streamlined format for easier navigation
  • Separate, tailored guidance for professionals, parents and carers, and young people
  • Comprehensive information to support young people experiencing self-harm
  • Access to training and resources.

This updated guidance reflects the NICE self-harm recommendations (September 2022) and takes a practical approach, incorporating local resources and knowledge to ensure relevance and usability.
