Update on the Early Help Process

The Kent Family Support Framework is the model used in Kent to support vulnerable children and their families with multiple needs or whose  needs are more complex.

Access to Early Help is intended to be straightforward and timely with a structured process of notification, assessment and planning with defined actions and outcomes. All Early Help interventions are expected to be time limited and monitored carefully to achieve positive outcomes for children, young people and families.

The Early Help Notification form (June 2015) has been updated following feedback from partners and replaces previous versions. Please ensure this is used from 8 June 2015 to request support for families where the problems and needs are more complex.
