The English Hub

Approximately 1,000 schools were invited to apply to become an English Hub. 32 schools were selected and one of them was Kingsnorth CEP. 32 hubs are geographically located around the country and the DfE are looking to add a further 4 to fill ‘gaps’ by location. In the South East our nearest hubs are Battersea and Southampton - quite a large ‘patch’.

We have a passion to work to support other schools and improve their use of (therefore outcomes of) systematic synthetic phonics. To help develop and sustain their own excitement for early reading and language development and instil a love of reading across their school communities.
