Self-harm prevention advice for professionals, families and young people

The new self-harm prevention advice  has now been published.

We are pleased to announce that the new self-harm prevention and advice for professionals, families and young people has now been published.

This guidance reflects the change in practice as outlined in the NICE guidance and is a collaborative effort between partners from across Kent and Medway’s health and social care services, voluntary and charity sector, and educational providers.

The guidance is divided into three sections; one for professionals; one for parents, families and carers; and one for children and young people. Each section offers support and advice.

We encourage you to review the guidance and share it with others who may benefit from it.
