Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) engagement

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) children and young people's engagement team have a number of youth worker and youth voice advisors engaging with children and young people, UK wide to influence policy and practice.

There are a couple of requests that would be great if partners can help with:

• State of Child Health - call for evidence -we are seeking examples of children and young people’s engagement, views and wishes on preventable poor health outcomes to build an evidence base on the state of child health in the UK (published and unpublished). More details in the MS Form on what we're after, how to submit and how we will use the information to support our work. Deadline to submit is Friday 13 February 2026 and if you have any questions about this work then please contact Olivia Lam by emailing Olivia.Lam@rcpch.ac.uk.
• State of Child Health - youth ballot -please share with children and young people so they can choose which topic should be prioritised by decision makers. More details on the RCPCH website including access to ballots to download, online ballot form, a presentation to use with groups (PowerPoint or Canva) and details of next steps and further background to the project.
