Last chance to register: Battery recycling rewards guaranteed! Register by Friday 17 July 2015. The Power Up To Recycling challenge is back.. with a difference. Your school will receive rewards based on the weight of batteries you collect for recycling
The Power Up To Recycling challenge is back for a 4th year, however this year every Kent school that participates* will receive a reward! We are asking Kent schools to encourage pupils, parents and staff to bring as many spent domestic batteries as possible into school for recycling. The challenge runs from 1 September 2015 to 8 January 2016. Schools will be rewarded for recycling with a Kent County Supplies voucher, provided by Valpak (who recycle batteries on behalf of Kent County Council), based on the weight of batteries they collect.

To take part simply register your school at www.kent.gov.uk/putr by 17 July 2015 and be ready to start the challenge in September!
* Minimum 1kg of batteries required to receive a reward
