New support for young LGBTQ+ people in Kent

17 January 2019

The Be You Project connects young people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or unsure of their sexual orientation and/or gender identity.

They offer a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space where young LGBTQ+ people can meet new friends and get support and advice.

Their new website is now live. As well as information on groups in your area, it offers you guidance for young people, parents and carers.

Resources include advice on coming out, staying safe and information for parents and families

There is also information on Pride events for 2019
