Multi-Factor Authentication is Coming to Kent Rewards

Keeping your Kent Rewards account secure

To help keep your account secure, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) will be introduced to ​Kent Rewards on 31 March. This extra layer of protection ensures your account stays safe, even if your password became compromised.

On Tuesday (24 March), you should have receive an automated email from Reward Gateway with a simple, step‑by‑step guide to help you set up MFA.

Once MFA is live, you'll be prompted to complete the set up the next time you log in - it only takes a few minutes. Our ​user guide is available to take you through the process as well.

What is Multi Factor Authentication?

Multi factor authentication is a security feature that requires you to verify your identity using two or more methods before accessing your account. This typically includes:

  • Something you know (like your password)
  • Something you have (like your phone or an authenticator app)

Even if someone gets hold of your password, they won’t be able to access your account without the second verification step. This extra step will protect you against phishing and fraud.

Why is Multi Factor Authentication important?

MFA helps:

  • Secure access to your discounts and savings.
