Local Democracy Week 12 - 18 October

As the Cabinet Member at Kent County Council with a responsibility for promoting democracy I very much hope that within the school curriculum and during 12 to 18 October at the school there will be an opportunity to promote the importance of local democracy and to get the young people to engage in it. I have today written to all Members of the County Council to encourage them to arrange to visit schools within their electoral Division during this week.

I very much hope that should one of the Members contact you to make such a visit you will be able to accommodate them. To find out who your local County Councillor is you can search online.
