Join the EEF Research School Network

The EEFective Kent Project is seeking to appoint a Kent-based EEF Associate Research School.

An exciting opportunity is now open to Kent Schools to apply to join the EEF Research School Network as an Associate Research School. This role can be applied for by a single school, a group of schools or charitable organisations focused on school improvement. The appointed Associate Research School will work with Durrington Research School to provide evidence and research focused system leadership and school-to-school support within Kent and the South East.

The successful applicant will be an associate of Durrington Research School who are currently expanding their reach across the South East by building a strong network of collaborative, evidence-informed practice across the region. The Associate model ensures a strong, consistent approach to the development of Research School work such as training and school-to-school support.

This designation will be funded jointly by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and Kent County Council via the EEFective Kent Project for two years in the first instance. This appointment is a key part of the project’s third strand of work which aims to build a sustainable legacy.

The EEF and Durrington Research School are holding an information session at 8am on Friday, 24 September 2021. This session will expand on the role of an Associate Research School, the wider work of the EEF’s Research School Network, the support and opportunities the designation offers, and information about the application process. To join this session please complete this short booking form

Applications to become an Associate Research School will open after the event on Friday, 24 September 2021 and will close at midday on Monday, 1 November 2021. The application form and supporting information will be made available on Durrington Research School’s website
