HSS009 KCC Health and Safety Assurance, Audit and Investigation Standard

KCC Health and Safety Team has introduced the Health and Safety Assurance, Audit and Investigation Standard (HSS009) to strengthen how we monitor, review and improve health and safety across all services and settings.
The Health and Safety Assurance, Audit and Investigation Standard (HSS009) (PDF, 351.5 KB) sets out KCC’s approach to assurance, including audits, investigations and the use of data to identify risks, confirm compliance and drive continuous improvement. Everyone has a role in supporting audit and investigation activity and ensuring learning is shared to prevent recurrence. Further guidance and supporting information are available through the Health and Safety pages and within the standard.
