Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Programme for the Summer 2022

Important information to share with relevant families.

The summer holiday is the next HAF Programme delivery point. This will enable children receiving free school meals to access free holiday provision for 16 hours a week, for four weeks.

This Easter we saw a threefold increase in uptake compared the previous, so we expect demand this summer to be high. It is great to see pupils looking forward to attending, and families appreciating the opportunities provided by the Programme.

To support parents and partners, and avoid schools being inundated with requests to confirm pupils’ eligibility for free places, we are using Wonde’s HAF e-voucher platform. This enables families to search for HAF Programme partners in their area and confirm their eligibility for a free place for their child.

From Monday 20 June 2022 your administrator will be able to go into the School’s e-voucher account and issue the HAF vouchers to families (launch instructions below). Please do so as soon as possible after the system goes live, to allow families plenty of time to search and book a place at a local HAF Programme ready for the Summer. These e-vouchers can be scheduled for immediate release.

Please also send relevant families the promotional flyer (PDF, 822.9 KB).
