Give your students a voice in shaping their education and future
3 June 2026
We’re inviting students aged eight to 18 to take part in Kent’s new Children and Young People’s survey – designed to capture their lived experiences, concerns, motivations and aspirations.
Schools and colleges that participate will receive report of the responses from their students.
Taking part benefits both your students and your provision:
- Insight that supports pastoral care - wellbeing, friendships, safety, mental health and resilience
- Evidence for school improvement and curriculum planning - especially PSHE
- Student voice that is heard at county level and used to influence real “you said, we did” action
- Clearer understanding of how students see their learning, progress and future careers
- Large‑scale quantitative data to complement your in‑school feedback tools and support inspection readiness
The survey is anonymous, quick to complete and covers the topics young people themselves say matter most - from wellbeing and school life to online experiences, aspirations and community safety.
Help us ensure young people’s voices genuinely shape the services and support they receive – take the survey
The survey will remain open until Wednesday 22 July.
