School representatives across Kent can attend a free event on Wednesday, October 7 designed to help schools deliver passion and performance. The annual KM Charity Team Forum is a free annual half-day event to help school staff and governors share best practice in delivering initiatives focused on literacy, road safety, green travel, health and wellbeing and Pupil Voice.
Schools involved in the KM Walk to School campaign will find out how to use school councils to drive the green agenda and the road safety skill tests available to them. Literacy leaders will learn about the phenomenally successful Buster's Book Club home reading initiative, which achieved two million minutes of reading last academic year.
Other hot topics include how to earn top awards in green travel and literacy as well as the educational support and resources available to schools from leisure attractions Canterbury Tales and Dickens World.
Delivered via a series of presentations and workshops the KM Charity Team Forum will take place on Wednesday, October 7 at Kent Scouts HQ, Lower Grange Farm, Maidstone. To find out more or book your free place, visit KM Charity Team Website.
