Extended Funding Opportunities from the EEFective Kent Project

The EEFective Kent Project has reopened and extended funding requests for both Promising Projects and Evidence-Based Training.

Requests can be made on the EEFective Kent Project webpage.

We are extending the project to give you more time to apply. Schools have told us that they think the EEFective Kent Project offer is great, but they have really struggled with the timeframes due to the challenges of the year. We hope this extension will help more schools access the offer.

Promising Projects: Extended until 5pm on Wednesday 28 July 2021

Applications for match funding can be made for the following programmes:

  • 1stClass@Number
  • App-based maths learning (onebillion)
  • Children’s University
  • Embedding Formative Assessment
  • Reciprocal Reading
  • Switch-on Reading
  • Thinking, Doing, Talking, Science.

The Promising Project Prospectus (PDF, 1.7 MB) provides full details for all of the Promising Projects included in this offer. The application link can be found on the EEFective Kent Project webpage.

Evidence-Based Training: Limited places still available

The booking request window has been extended for Evidence-Based Training to allow for the remaining places to be filled. Places are limited and bookings will close as soon as each course is full.

  • Evidence-informed Curriculum Development
  • SEND and Learning Behaviours (fully funded due to 50% match-funding from the Inclusion Fund)
  • Tackling Educational Disadvantage (previously known as Characteristics of Deprivation)
  • Improving Memory and Metacognition.

To request places for your school on these courses, please complete a booking request form. Further information about each of the Evidence-Based Training courses is available in the evidence-based training guide, including content, dates and the match-funding offer.
