Evidence-based training - booking requests closing soon

Booking requests for the second round of Evidence-based Training are closing at 1pm on Friday 28 May 2021. Submit your request to receive funding towards up to two courses with a fully funded day of wrap-around support.

The EEFective Kent Project is providing 50% match-funding towards the following Evidence-based Training courses:

  • Evidence-informed Curriculum Development
  • SEND and Learning Behaviours*
  • Tackling Educational Disadvantage (previously known as Characteristics of Deprivation)
  • Improving Memory and Metacognition

To access these courses and to receive match-funding, please complete and submit a booking request form by 1pm on Friday 28 May 2021. Taster sessions for each of these topics were held recently and the sessions were recorded. You can access them using the links above or through the evidence-based training guide which has further information including cost. Please note the cost per school is for two delegates to attend the training. In addition to the match-funding towards the training course, the Project will also be offering each successful school a fully funded day of support from one of our Kent based Evidence Leaders in Education, who will support you to implement the learning from your course into everyday practice in your school.

This round, depending on current COVID-19 conditions, will be a blend of virtual and face-to-face training to support networking opportunities.

Schools who have participated in the first round of the Evidence-Based Training have valued the thought-provoking content, the rigorous focus on evidence and the support for implementation, by both the tutors and the Evidence Leaders of Education.

*The EEFective Kent Project and the Kent Inclusion Fund are both providing 50% match-funding towards this training, meaning it is fully funded for eligible Kent schools and academies to access.
