Covid Orient Gene testing

This only affects a small number of test kits for ATS on site testing for secondary schools and colleges.

The instructions are incorrect because the swabbing methodology for Orient Gene has since been updated to nasal-only swabs by the manufacturer and are suitable for use by non-medical professionals, including individuals aged 12 or above (the incorrect instructions implied this was not the case). This means that they can be used in schools and colleges for ATS testing and the published guidance on the document sharing platform reflects this.
