Childhood vaccinations call
2 March 2026
The NHS and Department for Health and Social Care have teamed up to boost uptake of routine childhood vaccinations for children aged 0 to 5.
The joint campaign encourages families to contact their GP to catch children up on any missed vaccines, so they have the best protection from many preventable diseases - like measles.
Education settings, staff and parents can support the campaign by:
- displaying campaign posters and sharing social media content found on the Government's Campaign Resource Centre
- Using the suggested NHS wording below to support posts:
Vaccinations help wrap your child up in the best protection from diseases like measles and whooping cough, which are still around and can spread easily, causing serious illness.
Make sure your child's vaccines are up to date. Check their red book or speak to your GP practice.
