In Support of the NWG CSE National Awareness Day in March 2017, Operation Willow, the County Child Sexual Exploitation Response Team, have secured funding for the AlterEgo Company to put on three performances of their production Chelsea’s Choice on Wednesday 15 March at Kent Police Training School, Maidstone.
Chelsea’s Choice is an innovative and powerful production, highlighting the very serious and emotional issue of child sexual exploitation. The play has been seen by over 410,000 young people and hundreds of professionals around the UK and has proven highly effective in:
- Raising Awareness of Healthy Relationships
- Promoting Safe Internet Use
- Identifying Risky Situations
- Raising Awareness of the Grooming Process and the differing forms that it can take
- Raising Awareness of Child Sexual Exploitation and the differing forms that it can take.
The day is being offered free of charge, however schools will need to arrange their own transport to and from the venue.
Two of the three sessions are now fully booked but there are still places available in the 8:45am session. Don’t let this opportunity slip away. Book your place now.
