Autumn 2026 NPQ announcement - complete your expression of interest now!

The Education People are excited to announce that there will be an Autumn 2026 NPQ intake, with some big news for NPQSL.
In summary:
- NPQ for Senior Leadership will now be fully funded, regardless of disadvantage criteria
- NPQ for Headship will continue to be fully funded, regardless of disadvantage criteria
- NPQ for SENCOs will continue to be fully funded, regardless of disadvantage criteria
- the NPQ for Early Years Leadership will now be fully funded for participants working in Early Years settings regardless of disadvantage criteria
The above arrangements apply to participants working in eligible educational settings. Scholarships for all other NPQs will continue to be based on disadvantage criteria. For a full list of eligible schools please see the GOV.UK website
If your school is not eligible for funding for the NPQ you wish to complete, take a look at the Leader Apprenticeship with NPQs - funded by your school’s apprenticeship levy.
Expressions of interest for The Education People NPQ groups can be completed on the relevant programme page listed below and will be first in line for funding if eligible.

- NPQ for Executive Leadership (NPQEL)
- NPQ for SENCOs (NPQSENCO)
Specialist NPQs
- NPQ for Leading Teaching (NPQLT)

- NPQ for Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC)
