Area Inclusion Workshops May and June 2024 - registration required

As part of our SEN Improvement work which includes the Localities consultation, SRP review and Special School review, KCC is planning a series of area workshops.
The intention is for all schools in the area to attend to address the complexities of the continuum of need. The workshops are designed to move forward on what the Localities consultation referred to as ‘predictable and exceptional’ need, to focus on provision with a draft model of what could be expected with agreed terminology across the spectrum of provision.
The structure of the workshops will be as follows. A full agenda will be sent to schools nearer the time. The workshops are for Headteachers, SENCOs, Trust Inclusion leads, CEOs and other interested parties.

Workshops will take place for the areas on the below dates, with timings being 9am for 9:30am start. Finishing by 2:30pm. We are aware location is key and we will confirm the locations as soon as possible.
- North - Tuesday 21 May
- South - Friday 24 May
- East - Tuesday 4 June
- West - Friday 7 June.
