An Opportunity to join the EEF Research School Network

Kent County Council is working with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) to appoint an EEF Associate Research School in Kent as part of the sustainability strand of the EEFective Kent Project.

We are delighted to announce this new opportunity. The Kent Associate Research School will be associated with Durrington Research School with whom they will work to support the development of evidence-informed, collaborative, school-to-school support across the South East of England.

The role of an Associate Research School is to act as a regional delivery hub for a Research School. This will include delivering specific training programmes and wrap-around support to teachers and school leaders, with direction and support provided by Durrington Research School. The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) is holding an information session for Kent schools on Friday 24 September 2021 (8am to 9am). This session will provide more information on the role of an Associate Research School, what this means for Kent (including the support and opportunities that would be available) and further information about how to become an Associate Research School, for those who may be interested in this opportunity.

This information session is aimed at all interested Kent schools. To book a place, please complete the booking form

Limited places

There are limited places still available for the Evidence-based Training courses starting in the new academic year. The evidence-based training guide has full details about each of the courses on offer; to request places for your school please complete a booking request form. The courses are all delivered by the EEF Research Schools, including two by Durrington Research School.
