2016 Academies Show

With the recent developments around Academisation, the show was busier than ever before with over 3,600 public sector visitors attending - an 82% increase in attendance from last year’s show - we soon shifted our goody bags and brochures.

It was a great opportunity to showcase the range of services we provide to Kent Schools and beyond - including Schools Financial Services and Educational Psychology, to name but a few. We were delighted to receive such positive feedback from schools already purchasing our services and from those across the country who have heard great things about EduKent and its reputation.

Our main focus was to promote our online resources. This is an area of significant growth for EduKent and will provide convenient and cost effective access to resources and training for teachers and settings. A lot of our upcoming products received eager interest, including the Early Years Ofsted Grab File, Primary Reading and Writing Standards, Metacognition E-Learning, and Primary Spelling Resources.

We also had other exhibitors approach us to discuss having a stand at the EduKent Expo on the 9th November at Detling Show Ground. Our yearly Expo brings together influential speakers, workshops and service providers all under one roof for Kent Schools.

This is a great opportunity for Headteachers, Governors, Bursars and Teachers to discover new providers and services, and to gather information and tools to take back to their schools.
