The Hugh and Montague Leney Travelling Awards

Available to students who are thinking of taking a gap year or travelling during the school holidays to undertake a humanitarian project overseas.

  • In need of financial support to fund an organised visit?

The Hugh and Montague Leney Travelling Awards are available to students who are thinking of taking a gap year or travelling during the school holidays to undertake a humanitarian project overseas.

The overseas project is required to be a minimum of at least four weeks but particularly strong applications for shorter projects may still be considered.

Individual awards of up to £2,500 are made available every year. Awards higher than £2,500 may also be considered for particularly strong applications.
