There is a rise in Scarlet Fever notifications locally as well as in other parts of the counrty. The attached factsheet has information on signs/symptoms, mode of transmission, length of exclusion, how to prevent spread of infection and what to do if you suspect that you or another child/adult has Scarlet Fever. Schools must notify the Kent Health Protection Team on 03442 257968 if they have two or more pupils with Scarlet Fever and if they wish to seek further advice.
