Kent Invicta Award Design Competition 2019

2019 is the Kent Year of Green Action. To mark this occasion, Kent County Council is inviting Key Stage 4 young people to take part in a competition to design the Kent Invicta Award for 2019.

Key Stage 4 young people across Kent will have the opportunity to demonstrate their design, planning and producing skills by designing an Award, which will be presented to this year’s recipient of the Kent Invicta Award. More details about the award and the design criteria can be found in the Design Criteria Information Sheet (PDF, 145.0 KB) but please note there is a two-stage judging process for this award.

The first stage will be to submit a drawing of the award to be produced. This should be submitted on paper, no larger than A3, by Friday 4 October. From these designs, three finalists will be selected for the final judging, which will take place at County Hall on Tuesday 19 November 2019.

The Judging Panel will consist of the Chairman of Kent County Council, Mrs Ann Allen MBE and other senior Elected Members of the council.

The prizes for the winning designs are:

  • 1st Place
    • Certificate of Achievement
    • £200 Amazon Voucher
    • Invitation to Council Meeting to see the Award presented to the recipient.
    • Opportunity to be on a future Competition Judging panel.
  • 2nd Place
    • Certificate of Achievement
    • £100 Amazon Voucher
  • 3rd Place

It is hoped that as many students as possible will take part in this competition to help celebrate the Kent Year of Green Action.
