International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)

Celebration Invite 23 June 2017.

Secondary Schools and Colleges, come to be inspired at our International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) celebrations. The Rochester Bridge Trust have arranged a private screening of Hidden Figures at Rochester Cineworld Cinema, the story of a team of African-American women mathematicians/engineers who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the US space program.

The event is on 23 June 2017, 4pm arrivals for a 4:30pm screening. Representatives from Secondary schools and colleges from Kent, Medway and Old Kent - Bexley and Bromley can book up to five teachers, sixth formers or aspiring engineers in year 11 from each school/college. This is for boys and girls; and male and female teachers.

This event is free to attend and it is essential to register for tickets as these will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

Time: 4pm-6:30pm
Venue: Rochester Cineworld Cinema, Medway Valley Lesiure Park, Chariot Way, Rochester ME2 2SS
Cost: Free
