Access to the Service (Digital Front Door)

If your school has technical issues with any of the forms below please contact your IT department or technician in the first instance as almost all faults can be resolved internally and usually relate to firewall or anti-virus systems schools use when connecting with external websites. Should there be a widespread issue with the Digital Front Door then a message will be placed below to alert schools. If you have any additional queries, please contact Lee.Kennedy@kent.gov.uk.

The Digital Front Door (DFD) enable schools to complete statutory notifications to KCC, including informing about an exclusion, part time timetable, deleting a pupil from the admissions register and making attendance and sickness returns. Schools will also be able to invite KPAS staff to a formal attendance meeting with parents, request KCC to issue a penalty notice, and request statutory attendance intervention from a KPAS Officer. There is also a pathway for KCC professionals to ask for advice and guidance from the service.
