We also have a group of individuals willing to share their expertise, mainly on developing level two provision in sixth form.

They don’t claim perfection, but they have worked through many issues you may have been struggling with, and are willing to share their experiences, expertise and learning with you.

Luci Brown - Trust Director of Turner Sixth Form
Willing to support with:
- Developing level two courses in sixth forms
- Collaboration between schools and colleges.
With over 20 years of experience in post-16 education, Luci oversees the strategic direction of sixth forms across three Turner Trust schools:
- Folkestone Academy
- Turner Free School
- Dover Christchurch.
Luci has spent the last eight years leading sixth forms to improve both student recruitment and academic outcomes. As a qualified Careers Leader, she is an advocate for "right-fit" education, ensuring every student is enrolled in a curriculum that bridges the gap between the classroom and their future destination.
Lee Cooper - Head of Post 16, Grange Park School
Willing to support with:
- What level two programmes look like
- Responding to student need in curriculum design.
Lee brings over 20 years’ experience in post-16 education across both Further Education and specialist SEND settings. After 14 years in FE overseeing curriculum from 14 to 16 through to level four, he moved into the SEN sector, where for the past six years he has led all aspects of post-16 provision from entry level to level two.
His work focuses on designing inclusive, meaningful pathways that develop independence, employability and long-term outcomes for learners with diverse needs. Alongside Lee’s leadership role, he serves as a governor for a specialist SEN school and sits on the Board of Trustees for a specialist post-16 institution in Kent, contributing to strategic decision-making and sector-wide improvement. His commitment is to ensure every learner has access to a purposeful, ambitious pathway that supports them into adulthood.
Nick Holbrook-Sutcliffe - Assistant CEO, Education, East Kent Colleges Group
Willing to support with:
- Whole organisation strategies for level two implementation
- Developing sustainable funding models for level two
- Nurturing cross departmental collaboration
- Developing quality assurance processes that are robust and forward facing.
As Assistant Chief Executive Officer for Education at EKC Group, Nick brings a strategic, system-wide perspective to mentoring, grounded in deep experience across curriculum design, organisational planning and educational transformation.
Nick is particularly passionate about aligning curriculum intent with local and national priorities, embedding employer engagement meaningfully and driving innovation in technical education. His mentoring approach is reflective, pragmatic and rooted in a commitment to empowering teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for learners and communities.
Lorna Newbrook - Strategic Lead for Pathways for All for North Kent
Willing to support with:
- Developing a collaborative network
- Developing your post-16 curriculum with potential NEETs (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) in mind
- Developing a Pupil Inclusion Panel post-16 (PIP 16) to proactively discuss potential NEETs.
Lorna brings 20 years’ experience in education having undertaken roles such as Deputy Head of a secondary school, Assistant Headteacher, Head of Sixth Form, and Head of Year to Years 7 to 13 prior to her current position. She has experienced leading on inclusion, behaviour management, teaching and learning, careers, post-16, training and development amongst other areas. Her current work focuses on developing a powerful network of schools, providers and employers in the North of Kent to ensure there is a joined-up approach to post-16 placement to reduce the risk of NEET. Lorna is a trained coach and an experienced presenter having presented at national conferences such as PIXL 6.
