Forest Schools

Kent Country Parks Logo small

Our Forest Schools programme is a great way to enrich teaching the curriculum through woodland adventure.

Our activities can be used as a single session to complement traditional subjects or as a stand-alone unit where groups can visit for a number of weeks. Each programme is unique, tailored to the needs of your group of children and run by fully qualified level 3 practitioners and are available for primary and secondary school pupils.  Key areas of development include:

  • social
  • physical
  • intellectual
  • language and linguistics
  • emotional
  • self confidence.

Great value: £110 per two-hour session or six sessions for £600

Activities

There is no prescribed programme of activities as we tailor sessions to each group. However, activities could include:

  • bushcraft
  • fires and cooking
  • outdoor games
  • stories and songs
  • natural art
  • forest orchestra.

All our activities are linked to the national curriculum, and we can tailor flexible courses complementing classroom subjects.

Alternatively, let us come to you.  Our education rangers are able to visit your site to deliver Forest School activities.
