What can be recycled using WEEE?

The WEEE recycling service recycles waste, electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) for schools, colleges and universities.

Electrical waste is not restricted to IT equipment and covers anything electrical and there is no minimum specification for computer base units

SWEEEP Kuusakoski manages the service, and if you simply collect a minimum of 12 computer base units, SWEEEP will take away all of your WEEE free of charge.

How is the electric waste recycled?

All waste is responsibly recycled at SWEEEP's processing centre in Sittingbourne. It is the only waste processing centre in the world to have Nulife Technology that separates lead and glass used in the older style TV and monitor screens.

Collections will be made within 48 hours of your call or on a preferred date, along with full waste transfer notes and certificates of destruction.
