The Rosewood School

For pupils not well enough to attend school, it is important that the local authority and schools have clear support available to successfully maintain a continuation of education.

The Rosewood School (TRS) is run by the Kent Local Authority for children who are unable to attend school due to medical, physical or mental health needs.

Secondary-aged pupils:

  • TRS school placement - at Leybourne or Canterbury, with the aim of reintegration into mainstream education
  • Remote learning - for pupils who are immunocompromised or unable to attend school

All placements are typically offered on a 6 to 12 week basis, unless stated otherwise in your decision letter.
