As a result of the ongoing commitment to improving the experiences of children with SEND during transition phases, the Education and SEND directorate are working together to improve transition policy and practice in mainstream settings.

Reconnect: Kent Children and Young People is working with Kent’s newly formed Digital Kent team to tackle digital exclusion.

There will shortly be an opportunity to submit claims for exceptional premises costs incurred during the mass testing of pupils and students on their return in January 2022.

An Evidence Champion launch session is taking place online on Thursday 10 February 2022.

In the January schools advance we made a payment of Covid Recovery Premium which when taken with the payment already made in the October advance means schools have now received 7/12ths of their provisional allocation for the academic year.
