The Education People are committed to supporting newly registered providers; offering them guidance and support until their first Ofsted inspection. Newly registered Kent providers will receive an initial visit carried out by a Sufficiency and Sustainability Officer and an Early Years Improvement Adviser, who will offer support with their business and continuous improvement. The manager will then receive regular support from an Early Years Improvement Adviser in accordance with the delivery plan (DOCX, 130.5 KB) Previously, new providers have found this support invaluable.
Establishing a workforce can be challenging, finding the right candidate, understanding the current qualification requirements and creating robust retention processes are all essential elements to consider, after all your workforce is your most valuable resource.
